(KNX 1070) - On Wednesday night, a car traveling east on Manchester Avenue collided with a 32-year-old male bicyclist named Joseph Morgan Prandoni killing him in a fatal hit-and-run incident.
The driver of the vehicle, in a possible Gray Nissan Cube, failed to remain at the scene, identify themselves, and render assistance, according to a Los Angeles Police Department press release. The car fled eastbound on Manchester after striking the victim.
The Los Angeles City Council has approved a reward of $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this crime.
There will be a 10 am news conference Friday.
