(KNX 1070) - USC is facing more legal action Thursday morning as former and current students are joining lawsuits over sexual misconduct allegations.
Originally, 11 men filed lawsuits alleging Dr. Dennis Kelly, a former men's sexual health physician, who targeted gay and bisexual men.
Now 18 more men are joining the lawsuits.
A USC student and a former student have gone public in discussing alleged sexual misconduct by Kelly who's accused of targeting gay men in a lawsuit that includes 50 plaintiffs.
They accuse Kelly of persuading them into unnecessary and expensive examinations and asking overly invasive questions.
Some of the plaintiffs and their attorneys will hold a news conference later this morning and we'll update you that.
In a statement, USC says "We're aware of the lawsuit and are concerned about the allegations. We care deeply about our entire Trojan family, including our LGBTQ community and take this matter very seriously."
