
(KNX 1070) -- Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department homicide investigators are announcing the arrest of Heber Enoc Diaz, 27, for the alleged murder of Arcadia grandmother Chyong Jen Tsai, 76. The victims’ vehicle was recovered on 900 Colorado Boulevard, in Los Angeles on Thursday night, April 18.
On Friday, April 19, at approximately 10:30 A.M., investigators located the suspect when he was leaving his residence in the city of Pasadena. He was arrested without incident and booked for murder at the Inmate Reception Center in downtown Los Angeles was not given bail. Investigators will submit their case for review by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. It was initially known how Tsai died, but following an autopsy, it was determined she was asphyxiated and sustained injuries from “sharp force” and blunt trauma.
