Evacuations have been ordered in Whittier as police are checking out a suspicious package in front of a Planned Parenthood building.
LA County Fire says initial reports were that a small beer keg was found on the sidewalk at Greenleaf and Walnut.
Whittier police officer Hugo Figueroa can't confirm if it's a beer keg but does tell KNX an LA County's sheriff's bomb squad is on the way.
Figueroa says it's unclear if the package was left there on purpose.
The Planned Parenthood and the surrounding area have been evacuated.
