(KNX 1070) -- Cindy McCain reposted a Twitter message Tuesday that she received the same day President Donald Trump eviscerated her late husband John McCain via an intense Twitter-storm.

The vile note called Cindy McCain a c**t said she was glad her husband was dead and said she hoped her daughter Meghan "chokes to death."

Over the past weekend, the president continued his feud with McCain, who passed away six months ago, attacking him for his ObamaCare vote and claims he leaked a "dossier" with ties to Russia and the Trump campaign.

Spreading the fake and totally discredited Dossier “is unfortunately a very dark stain against John McCain.” Ken Starr, Former Independent Counsel. He had far worse “stains” than this, including thumbs down on repeal and replace after years of campaigning to repeal and replace!

Meghan McCain, slapped back at the president writing in her own Twitter post: "No one will ever love you the way they loved my father."

No one will ever love you the way they loved my father.... I wish I had been given more Saturday’s with him. Maybe spend yours with your family instead of on twitter obsessing over mine? https://t.co/q7ezwmHiQ4

Tuesday, Trump doubled-down saying, "I was never a fan of John McCain and never will be. Thank you very much."

Cindy McCain said she'd shared the Twitter message because: "I want to make sure all of you could see how kind and loving a stranger can be.

"I’m posting her note (so) her family and friends could see."

Wednesday, Trump continued his attacks on McCain saying: "I endorsed him at his request," Mr. Trump said. "And I gave him the kind of funeral that he wanted. Which as President, I had to approve. I don't care about this - I didn't get thank you. That's OK. We sent him on the way, but I wasn't a fan of John McCain."

Speaking in Lima, Ohio, President Trump spends minutes continuing his attacks on John McCain: "I have to be honest, I've never liked him much, hasn't been for me. I've really, probably never will" https://t.co/VslGJfM3Bk pic.twitter.com/erik17UFC1
