(KNX 1070) -- Robert Mueller's Special Counsel report concluded that President Trump and his campaign did not collude with Russian agents to win the 2016 election, or so we're told by the attorney general.
But that does not matter to Tom Steyer.
The hedge fund billionaire remains singularly focused on impeaching and removing President Trump from office, and the Mueller report conclusions won't deter him.
But Steyer's efforts go beyond that: he's given away millions of dollars to activists, scientists and organizations working to combat climate change and bring the debate on global warming to the political forefront.
He's hosting a town hall forum Tuesday night in Glendale.
Steyer also fielded questions on whether he will run for office himself -- he isn't. But he did say the country is in the midst of a crisis.
When it comes to supporting a candidate in the 2020 presidential campaign, Steyer said he's been most impressed with the current Governor of Washington State, Jay Inslee, and his unyielding determination to defeat climate change.
While discussing impeaching Trump, Steyer recalled the Nixon hearings and how it was like the world's greatest soap opera every single day.
Ultimately, Steyer stressed the president could be impeached.
