A family feud has become public over horse racing at Santa Anita.

The founder and part-owner of the track says he wants to put the operations under a trust, taking management power away from his daughter.

At a standing-room-only conference in Arcadia last night, Frank Stronach took square aim at his daughter Belinda's role in the track's troubles:

"The management did not implement the medication protocol and the management should have been smart enough...this track is not when it has major, major rain," he said.

Twenty-three horses have suffered fatal injuries at the track since late last year.

Stronach filed a lawsuit last year against his daughter alleging mismanagement.
