Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is set to give his annual State of the City speech Wednesday afternoon at Lincoln High School.
He's expected to speak about his successful mediation of the Los Angeles teacher's strike, and a parcel tax measure, which he supports.
The measure will be on the ballot in June and aims to generate hundreds of millions of dollars for local schools.
Garcetti will likely also touch on his Bridge Home program for the homeless.
