More than a dozen members of a youth hockey team that plays in El Segundo are off the ice because of an alleged anti-Semitic video.
A video was posted on March 9 and by March 29, 15 players and three coaches from the LA Jr. Kings were suspended.
On Saturday, March 9, a video was posted on a social media platform involving youth hockey players engaging in apparent USA Hockey SafeSport infractions, according to the LA Jr. Kings statement on their website.
It has been confirmed the players in the video are members of the LA Jr Kings, according to the LA Jr. Kings statement on their website.
"The events on March 9 are regretful to many, especially the players and parents. We will work together to educate and grow, and in this regard lead with action. The LAJK will continue to cooperate to the extent necessary to assist in a thorough and complete SafeSport investigation," Steve Yovetich, who is President of the LA Jr Kings Hockey, said in a statement.
