
The mother of a little girl, whose body was dumped in Hacienda Heights, and the mom's boyfriend are set to appear in a Pomona courtroom this morning on charges they murdered the girl last month.
Nine-year-old Trinity Jones body was found partially inside a duffel bag off a trail in Hacienda Heights and identified with public help.
Sheriff’s Homicide detectives tracked Emile Hunt and Taquesta Graham to Texas where Graham was held on a parole violation and later extradited to California.
Hunt returned to San Diego and was arrested there.
Both have been charged with murder in the death of the girl.
Graham is facing a potential sentence of 26 years to life while Hunt could receive 55 years to life if they are convicted of all charges.
As of now, the coroner’s office has completed the autopsy of Trinity Jones but the actual cause of death remains under a security seal.
The funeral service for Trinity was open to the public in recognition of the outpouring of community support for the girl and her family in the weeks following her death.
