(KNX 1070) - There’s a terrible mess to clean up at Seal Beach.
The recent storms brought a flood of unsightly and dangerous garbage from the San Gabriel mountains.
Trash and every type of bottles were on the ground as cleanup is expected to take a week or more.
It's not as bad as it was once before -- there were once shopping carts found on the beach, according to locals KNX reporter Craig Fiegener interviewed Tuesday.
Yuck! A weekend of heavy storms brought down a flood of trash to the shores of Seal Beach. The cleanup is expected to take a week or more. Most of it washed down from the San Gabriel mountains. pic.twitter.com/jS7Z2I1duw
