(KNX 1070) -It's been a difficult and emotional week at Claremont McKenna College after the death of two students in just over a week.
One senior was found in his bed after his parents said they hadn't heard from him in a few days and requested a welfare check. There's no sign of foul play.
The other student died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The college president says the school is deeply shocked and saddened by the tragedies.
Both men were 22 years-old.
On Wednesday night the campus held a candlelight vigil for both Jeremy Peterson and Eric Cramer, according to the CMC Newsroom website.
CMC President Hiram E. Chodosh made remarks: https://www.cmc.edu/news/remembrance-of-jeremy-peterson-and-eric-cramer
Counselors and psychologists have been on campus this week to help students and faculty with their grief.
