(KNX 1070/CNS) -  PCH is open again both directions after a bizarre crash— that caused incredible flooding.

A vehicle rolled over and sheared off two fire hydrants on Pacific Coast Highway this morning, prompting the closure of the road in both directions at the California Incline.

The accident occurred about 3 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

As of 7 a.m., utility workers shut off both hydrants that flooded out PCH.

As of 8:30 a.m., the southbound PCH lanes were re-opened. The northbound lane is still closed. The 10 freeway at Fourth Street is also still closed.

Traffic was being diverted off the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway on the Fourth Street off ramp, Cal Trans said.

The road will be closed until further notice.

Details of the accident were not immediately available.
