Disney executive chairman Bob Iger may be heading to China or the UK in the role of ambassador in President-elect Joe Biden's administration.
Igor, 69, who once suggested a 2020 presidential run, would step into one of the most prestigious diplomatic assignments should he be offered the position.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sources say Jeffrey Katzenberg, a prolific Democratic donor, also is in the mix for an ambassadorship.
Iger was a colossal celebrity donor to Biden's presidential campaign, giving $250,000 to The Biden Victory Fund, according to public records. Katzenberg reportedly gave $617,800 to the same fund and hosted numerous events to encourage his wealthy friends to do the same.
Additionally, producer Matt Walden, husband of Walt Disney Television chairman Dana Walden, is being considered for a post in an unnamed European country.
