A new program is delivering food to more than 1,000 seniors throughout Los Angeles.

KNX News’ Nataly Tavidian spoke to Steven Holguin with Revolution Foods about this new program.

“We've been able to expand our staff and drivers and create new opportunities,” he said. “And what's been really great is also, it's even opened up opportunities from through the K12 schools that we serve, we try and advertise open positions to their parents.”

Revolution Foods hires drivers directly rather than contracting third-party delivery services. Holguin said they typically use smaller vans to deliver the food, and drivers typically make about 45 stops a day. He said the food is made fresh in the City of Commerce, but is delivered frozen.
