One person was killed and another was injured after a pickup rolled over multiple times on the Golden State (5) Freeway Wednesday near Griffith Park.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the northbound freeway at 3:35 a.m. and the Griffith Park Drive off-ramp where they learned the vehicle flipped on its side and then overturned several times before landing in the freeway's slow lane, CHP Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.

Debris from the crash was scattered among most of the freeway lanes.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
The crash closed two lanes of the freeway for several hours while the CHP investigated the crash.
