One person was killed and another person was injured in a collision between two semi trucks near the freeway exchange with the Pomona (60) Freeway and the Orange (57) Freeway.

The collision was reported at 4:11 a.m. and California Highway Patrol responded to the connector road from the 60 Freeway and the 57 freeway where they found both tankers on their sides, CHP Officer Michael Nasir told City News Service.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics and another victim was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
The CHP issued a SigAlert and closed three lanes of the connector road from the eastbound 60 and the northbound 57 Freeway near Diamond Bar for an unknown duration while they investigated the cause of the crash.
