One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday on the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway in Mission Hills.

California Highway Patrol officers were called to the westbound freeway and the Sepulveda Boulevard on-ramp at 3:26 a.m. Friday where they learned a gold Toyota left the freeway on-ramp, hit the guardrail and crashed on a freeway embankment, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
According to reports from the scene, one victim was ejected in the crash.
The crash closed two lanes of the freeway and the CHP issued a SigAlert while they investigated the cause of the crash, Garcia said.
The SigAlert was cancelled around 8:30 a.m.
