1 killed on 110 Harbor Freeway near DTLA

California Highway Patrol officers Wednesday are investigating the death of a man who was found near a freeway off-ramp on the Harbor (110) Freeway near downtown Los Angeles.

CHP officers received a call at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday regarding a body discovered near the shoulder of the Pico Boulevard off-ramp of the northbound freeway, CHP Officer Michael Nasir told City News Service.

The victim, whose name, gender and age were not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.

The CHP closed three lanes and the off-ramp of the freeway and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the victim's death.
