LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Several rides were reportedly stuck around 5 p.m., prompting calls to rescue crews Thursday as a power outage affected Universal Studios Hollywood.
Firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the park, according to ABC7 and assisted in freeing about 11 parkgoers.

Fire department officials told the news outlet the calls for assistance came in around 3:45 p.m. and that the TRANSFORMERS™: The Ride-3D was the one on which 11 people became stuck. Crews were able to remove everyone safely from the ride with no injuries reported.
A spokesperson for Universal shared the following statement with ABC7 - "As a result of a power interruption from So Cal Edison, we experienced a brief power dip which resulted in exiting guests from some attractions. Power has been fully restored and we're working to get a few remaining attractions back online. The theme park remains open."
