15-year old killed in San Bernardino drive-by shooting

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KNX) — A teenager was reported dead following a drive-by shooting in San Bernardino on Sunday, according to police.

The incident took place in the 1500 block of North Sierra Way shortly after 4 p.m.. The 15-year-old victim, whose name has not yet been released, suffered several gunshot wounds and was transported by first responders to St. Bernardine Medical Center for treatment.

He was pronounced dead within the hour, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.

Police Tuesday were still working to identify a suspect and motive in the killing, according to a news release. Anyone with information on the incident was asked to contact Det. D.
