16 residents in Studio City neighborhood evacuated due to debris flow

Sixteen residents in a Studio City neighborhood were evacuated Sunday night after two homes were damaged by debris flow.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to W. Lockridge Road just before 9:10 p.m.

Residents in all nine homes in the neighborhoods, including pets, were evacuated, according to LAFD’s Nicholas Prange.

The LADWP and Gas Company assessed impacted utilities. Inspectors with the Department of Building and Safety also responded.

No injuries were reported.
