The burglary was reported around 4:34 a.m. on Monday at Amai Coffee, located at 1701 Pico Blvd, where officers found the front door glass shattered, according to the Santa Monica Police Department.

The suspects were reportedly captured on surveillance footage fleeing the scene in a white or silver sedan.

Detectives described one of the suspects as a man of average build, last seen wearing a black sweater, face mask, blue jeans and black shoes.

The second suspect was also described as a man of average build, last seen wearing a black FILA sweater with white lettering, a red face mask, black pants and black shoes.

``Although no items were reported stolen, the forced entry caused approximately $1,000 in damage to the storefront," SMPD officials said in a statement.

The same location was burglarized approximately three months ago. Around that time, police said, another business in a neighboring community, Dr. T House, was also targeted.

Anyone with information about the burglary or the suspects was urged to contact Detective Sean Baker at sean.baker@santamonica.gov or Sergeant Shaun Cooney at shaun.cooney@santamonica.gov, or by phone at 310-458-8932.
