Firefighters are working to contain a brush fire in the Acton area.
The fire was reported at 11:23 a.m. in North Crown Valley Rd. and Soledad Canyon Rd., according to the L.A. County Fire Department.
At 12:33 p.m., the fire burned 80 acres, but grew to 250 acres just before 1 p.m., according to Watch Duty. It reached 280 acres before going up to 345 acres.
Evacuation orders were issued on Soledad Canyon Rd. and Crown Valley Rd. areas.
At 3 p.m. the fire reached 20% containment, and around 4 p.m., fire officials said forward progress on the fire had been stopped.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported. There are also no reports of structural damage.
