Second booster doses available to eligible residents at L.A. County vaccination sites

LOS ANGELES (KNX) — On Tuesday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized a second booster doze of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for individuals 50 years of age and older at least four months after they received their last dose.

Los Angeles County vaccination sites operated by the Department of Public Health will administer those booster doses to eligible residents starting Wednesday.

Sites administering boosters for those aged 50 and older include Obregon Park in East L.A., Ted Watkins Park in South L.A., Balboa Sports Complex in Encino, Commerce Senior Citizens Center, Market Street Center in Santa Clarita, Palmdale Oasis Recreation Center, and Norwalk Arts and Sports Complex.
