A magnitude-3.9 earthquake centered near Malibu struck Sunday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake was reported at 8:17 p.m. Sunday, centered 6.2 miles northwest of Malibu, the USGS reported. It was nearly nine miles beneath the surface.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
The earthquake follows a 3.3-magnitude quake that struck near Malibu Monday, and a 4.1-magnitude quake one day prior.
