Three people were arrested following a home break-in in the Hollywood Hills early Thursday morning.

Police responded to the home on Marchita Place in the Doheny Estates around 6:30 a.m. While the homeowner wasn’t there when the break-in happened, police said they called after seeing the thieves on the security camera.

Arriving officers arrested two of the suspects right away. Officers used K-9s to track down the third suspect.

A woman who’s lived in the Hollywood Hills for 28 years told KNX News’ Karen Adams that burglaries have picked up lately.

“A few years ago, when this started to happen, we created a security program where a number of us who live in this neighborhood are contributing an extra $300 a month to have security for as many hours a day as we can afford,” she said.

The suspects have not been identified. It’s unclear if anything was stolen.
