
Three suspects carried out an armed home invasion early Tuesday at a Westminster home, stealing unknown items before fleeing and eluding responding police.
According to the Westminster Police Department, officers responded around 1:40 a.m. to a report of a home invasion in the 13400 block of Milan Street.
Police spotted three suspects, believed to be male, wearing sweatshirts with hoods over their heads and leaving the area in a dark-colored gray van. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, sparking a short pursuit, however, the suspects eluded authorities and were last seen near Westminster Boulevard and Bolsa Chica Road, police said.

"Inside the residence, officers found four victims: an adult male, an adult female, a 7-year-old girl, and a 4-year-old girl," according to a police statement.
"Officers learned the three suspects, two armed with handguns, forced entry into the residence. They entered the adult male victim's bedroom and asked him where he kept the money. The suspects allegedly held the adult male at gunpoint while they ransacked his bedroom and stole several valuable items."
It was unclear what was taken. No injuries were reported.
