34-year-old woman with autism missing from Santa Clarita

Authorities sought the public's help Wednesday to find a woman with autism who went missing from Santa Clarita.

Christina Lynn Penniston, 34, was last seen on Feb. 15 at 2:15 p.m. in the 19000 block of Stillmore Street, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported.

Penniston is white, 5-feet tall, weighs 110 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. She was wearing a brown sweater and blue jeans.

"Ms. Penniston's family is concerned for her well being as she is autistic," a sheriff's statement said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222- TIPS. Tipsters may also use the website http://lacrimestoppers.org.
