Sheriff's detectives Wednesday are investigating the deaths of four men who were found dead at a house in Palmdale after experiencing unspecified medical distress.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics arrived at the 37500 block of 17th Street East around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday regarding a report about men with medical complications, according to a department spokesman.
The medical distress the men were experiencing remains unclear.
"There were obvious signs they had been deceased for a while," said Chris Reynoso, a spokesman for the fire department told the Los Angeles Times.
NBC 4 reported a neighbor told the station on Tuesday three of the four men were related.
According to The Times, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies were contacted by fire authorities after firefighters found multiple persons down at the residence.
The Times reported two of the victims were found in the home's backyard and two were inside the house.
KABC 7 reported on Wednesday the victims ranged in age from 20 to 50.
The men's names were being withheld pending notification of relatives by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner's office.
