
LOS ANGELES (KNX) – Authorities have located a 5-year-old girl who was reportedly flown to California from North Carolina.
California Highway Patrol announced Thursday that the Endangered Missing Advisory has been deactivated and that the little girl was found safely at 5:15 a.m. The alert was initially issued on behalf of Lincoln County Sheriff's Department in North Carolina
Details regarding how and where she was found have not been revealed at this time.
Officials said Faith Leigh Harris was taken on April 3 by her grandmother's ex-husband, 84-year-old Orion Douglas Memmott.
It’s unclear if Mermott was with the girl when she was found.
