A video has surfaced showing five L.A. County probation staff members piling on a juvenile and twisting his leg in an 'unnatural, grotesque position' prompting a lawsuit and more trouble for county-run facilities.

In 2020, the then-17-year-old Beckham was detained at Campus Kilpatrick in Malibu. According to his attorney, Michael Carrillo, Beckham asked for food and water but was denied and eventually pinned down on a table by three men and two women.

Carrillo said his client feared for his life during the ordeal, at one point calling for his mother.

Carrillo alleges that the former probation department head attempted to cover up the incident, but the situation came to light thanks to the leaked footage.

He told KNX reporter Emily Valdez, "We seek justice for Beckham for what happened, but we also want to uncover all the stones and see who exactly knew about this video, why they covered it up, and why didn't they take the steps necessary to ensure that the proper authorities were informed."

Beckham has reportedly suffered severe lower back pain and is struggling with the traumatic effects of what happened. Carrillo said his client did not come forward sooner due to threats of being sent to 'adult jail' if he said anything.

The probation officer that bent Beckham's leg is facing assault under color of authority charges.
