It's been three weeks since 29-year-old Nancy Ng, a special needs teacher for the Alhambra School District, went missing while on a yoga trip to Guatemala.
KNX News reporter Emily Valdez, spoke with Nancy's sister Nicky, who said a supposed witness gave Guatemalan prosecutors a statement saying while on a kayaking excursion in the remote area of Lake Atitlán, Nancy wanted to go swimming and jumped out of a kayak.

The kayak was later found empty, but no sign of Nancy, and with no one else to corroborate the story - Nicky and her family are desperate for answers.
Nicky said, "If anybody learns any information about what may have happened that day, that can offer the family and Nancy's friends some type of hope or information, anything. Please share with us so that we can better direct our search efforts because right now, it's like we don't even know where to begin looking."

The family asks anyone with information to contact the FBI, the State Department, or crime stoppers.
