The Anaheim Police Department is continuing its investigation into the homicide of 49-year-old Anaheim resident Marcy Aguilar, nearly one year after the incident.

On January 24, 2024, at approximately 3:17 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting on E. Wakefield Avenue where they found Aguilar suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
