Gas prices in Los Angeles County have been coming down, and oil industry experts believe the cost will drop even more.
The average price in the L.A. metro area is down to $4.53 a gallon, according to Patrick DeHaan, the head of Petroleum Analysis at Gas Buddy.
“We did see it earlier this year, but I would say where we are now, we haven't been this low in August going back to about 2021,” DeHaan told KNX News’ Jon Baird.

He said the cost of gas is back to what some people consider normal for L.A. County, but prices are still too high.
Prices could decrease even more in the fall, according to DeHaan.
