The AVP Manhattan Beach Open has returned this year with some Olympic headliners.
It was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The beach volleyball event, which is part of the Gold Series, kicked off Friday morning and will go through Sunday.
Many Olympic athletes, including April Ross and Alix Klineman, will be the event’s headliners. The women won gold in the Tokyo Olympics this summer.
Other prolific volleyball players such as Kelly Claes Sarah Sponcil, Casey Patterson, Chase Budinger will also be participating in matches over the weekend, according to the Orange County Register.
Peacock Premium will be livestreaming the matches online.
