The Bain Fire in the Jurupa Valley continued into Wednesday, reaching 1,375 acres and 25% containment.
According to CalFire, 100 fire personnel are working to contain the fire, with four hand crews, 22 engines, two helicopters, two dozers, and two water tenders.
The fire started Tuesday just before 11:30 a.m. in the Santa Ana River bottom in the area of Bain St. and Limonite Ave. Four people were reported injured. Three had smoke inhalation, and one had some kind of traumatic injury. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Evacuation shelters open to the public include the La Sierra Senior Center, located at 5215 La Sierra Ave., and the Jurupa Community Center, located at 4810 Pedley Rd.
