More than a dozen stores along Ventura Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley had their windows shattered early Wednesday morning.
The vandal or vandals drove down the boulevard while shooting a BB gun at the stores' windows.
The suspects began shooting out the windows of 19 businesses at around 4 a.m., Los Angeles Police Department Officer Lizeth Lomeli told City News Service.
Officers from multiple police stations are involved in the investigation, Lomeli said.
Some of the affected businesses in Tarzana and Woodland Hills include Chase Bank, Knauer Pianos, The Carving Board, Excitement adult store, AGWC Rockin' Rescue and Mi Casa Lighting and Fans, according to NBC LA.
The owner of Knauer Pianos said this has happened before. One of his pianos was also damaged in the shooting.
No injuries were reported.
"Investigators are going to be going out and surveilling for any evidence," said Lomeli.
LAPD is hoping one of the business owners has a surveillance video that could help detectives track down the suspects. Lomeli said anyone with any information on the shooting should contact LAPD.
