LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Los Angeles police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a driver involved in a felony hit-and-run that nearly killed a bicyclist last month.
On Jan. 16, at approximately 4:20 p.m., the bicyclist was traveling southbound on Glendale Boulevard. As he approved Allesandro Street, a silver 2012 to 2016 model Hyundai Elantra sedan rear ended him, knocking the bicyclist into the street.

The vehicle ran over the bicycle before the driver continued southbound on Glendale Boulevard without stopping. It was last seen going westbound on Berkeley Avenue near Allesandro Street.
The bicyclist sustained minor injuries, but the bicycle was crushed, police said.
No additional information was available on the driver, but the car is believed to have right front-end damage and be missing a front hub camp.
Anyone with information on the incident was asked to contact LAPD Det. Juan Campos with the Central Traffic Detectives division at (213) 833-3713. Tipsters wishing to remain anonymous may call the L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
