Two westbound lanes were initially closed following the 6:45 a.m. crash as a heavy-duty tow truck was summoned to the scene and the overpass was inspected for structural damage, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A full westbound closure was later put in effect, with traffic diverted to the northbound 405, to allow Caltrans to clean up debris and clear the big rig.
By 11:30 a.m., one of the three lanes had reopened, according to the CHP.
The SigAlert was finally lifted shortly after 2 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
