Britney Spears was charged with driving under the influence on Thursday.
Prosecutors in Ventura County say she has been hit with a misdemeanor count of driving under the combined influence of alcohol and drugs.
California Highway Patrol officers pulled her over in early March near her home in Ventura County. Officers said at the time she seemed impaired and got arrested after the sobriety tests.
Her rep called the incident “completely inexcusable,” saying she was going to get the help she needed. Spears has since checked into treatment.
Her arraignment is set for Monday, but she’s not required to appear in court.
