Multiple fire agencies are working to contain the Springs Fire burning in Moreno Valley.
The fire, dubbed the Springs Fire, was reported just before 11 a.m. in the 15900 block of Gilman Springs Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Around 11:30 a.m., the fire was reported to be burning five to six acres. Around 230 p.m., it jumped up to 1,500 acres east of Lake Perris near Moreno Valley in Riverside County, triggering a series of evacuation orders. At 3:30 p.m., the fire reached over 2,800 acres and later went up to over 3,500 acres, with a containment of 5%.
At 7:30 p.m., the fire burned 4,176 acres and was at 10% containment.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported as of Friday night, and there have been no structural damage.

An evacuation shelter was created at Valley View High School at Nason St.
