Fire crews stopped a small brush fire alongside the southbound 405 Freeway in the Brentwood area from growing, but traffic is a mess through the Sepulveda Pass.
The fire was reported near the Skirball Center and grew to about four acres.
As a result of the fire, CHP officials issued a Sigalert for the southbound lanes, adding that lanes 4-6 would be blocked for half an hour.
