A fire ripped through an apartment complex in Carson Wednesday night, gutting a carport and destroying at least three vehicles.
The fire broke out around 9:45 p.m. at a building on Sesame Ave., just west of the 110 freeway. Residents told KNX News’ Jon Baird they were shocked to see the flames.
“I came outside and I looked on the other side and there was a fire, and it was like, taller than this tree,” a resident said.
It took fire crews about an hour to knock the fire down. The cause is still under investigation.
