Chargers activate five from COVID-19 reserve list, add four

COSTA MESA, Calif. (CNS) — The Los Angeles Chargers activated five players from the COVID-19 reserve list, including starting defensive tackle Justin Jones, and added kicker Dustin Hopkins and three other players, decreasing the total to 14.

Returner-receiver Andre Roberts, second-string quarterback Chase Daniel, linebacker Chris Rumph II and guard Senio Kelemete were also activated.

Long snapper Matt Overton, defensive back Davontae Harris, who made the first start of his four-game Chargers career in Sunday's 41-29 loss to the Houston Texans, and tackle Trey Pipkins III were also added to the list.

The Chargers also have two players on the practice squad COVID-19 reserve list, kicker Tristan Vizcaino and linebacker Cole Christiansen.
