
Ruben’s Bakery & Mexican Food in Compton has reopened days after looters ravaged it during a street takeover.
On Tuesday, around 3:20 a.m., a white Kia soul rammed into the entrance of the bakery and a dozen people ran inside and looted some items, according to Lieutenant Melissa Ramirez with the Compton L.A. Sheriff’s Department station.

The looting caused $10,000 in damages, KCAL reported.
It’s believed 100 people were involved in the street takeover.
The investigation is ongoing.
