WATCH: COVID-19 patient shares video of his 'horrifying' effects from virus to urge others to wear a mask

Chuck Stacey of Florida was a self-proclaimed COVID-19 skeptic – that is until he was diagnosed with the deadly virus.

Not wanting others to suffer his fate, he’s posted several videos on his Facebook page to urge other virus-deniers to take the disease seriously and wear a mask.

Updating his videos from the hospital as his illness develops, Stacey calls the effects of coronavirus “horrifying.”

"I didn't wear a mask. I should have,” Stacey writes.

Stacey is adamant that he wanted to share his story because, “if what is happening to me can make one person do something that might save their life I’m good with it.”
