
A driver smashed through the roof of a home in Rancho Palos Verdes on Sunday night.
It happened just before 6 p.m. at 28036 Santona Drive, according to NBC 4.

The homeowner told KTLA News that the car smashed through the ceiling in her family room.
“I looked in the family room and saw piles and piles of wood,” she said. “The windows had shattered. It sounded like the whole house had exploded.”
Lt. Rony Del Pinto with the L.A, County Sheriff’s Department told the Los Angeles Times that the driver, who was elderly, lost control of the car on an embankment. The driver did have minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
No one inside the house was hurt.
