Driver flees after crashing into 7-Eleven in Hollywood

Police on Tuesday were searching for a driver who crashed a vehicle into the wall of a 7-Eleven in Hollywood and fled.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Division responded at approximately 10:15 p.m. Monday to 5763 Hollywood Blvd. and Taft Avenue, according to reports from the scene.

Footage from the scene showed that the convenience store's front entrance and windows were destroyed by the crash.

After crashing into the store's entrance, the driver drove away in an unknown direction, CBS2 reported.

No injuries were reported.
