LOS ANGELES (KNX) – Police are investigating a hit-and-run that injured a Department of Transportation officer.
It happed May 12 around 7 p.m. at Flower Street and Olympic Boulevard.
Police said the LADOT officer was directing the driver of a “Mercedes-Benz C-Class, with a Texas license plate”, when the driver drove forward
“The driver struck the LADOT Officer as she drove through the intersection and failed to stop to render aid and identify herself,” the department said.
The officer had minor injuries and was not hospitalized.
Police described the driver as “female Black and is 20 to 30-years-old.”
